Overview

On 16 July 2026, the Rotary Club of Madras marked another significant milestone in its commitment to strengthening public healthcare by handing over a state-of-the-art Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Chamber to the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital, Omandurar, Chennai. Made possible through the generous support of the Timken Foundation of Canton and Timken India Limited, the project reflects the power of collaboration between Rotary, corporate philanthropy and the Government of Tamil Nadu to create a lasting impact for the community. The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Sanjay Koul, Chairman & Managing Director, Timken India Limited, and Rtn. Ravi S., District Governor Nominee, RI District 3234, as Guests of Honour. They were joined by Rotary Club of Madras President Rtn. Balakrishna S., Immediate Past President Rtn. Nikhil Raj, and members of the club.
